Nicklaus Children's is among a select group of Miami-based nonprofits that are beneficiaries of the new Miami Impact Index Fund. A first-of-its-kind in crypto, this index fund makes it easy to give back to Miami-area nonprofits on The Giving Block's platform with one single donation. Nicklaus Children’s Launches National Initiative to Protect Kids from Digital Technology

To support parents in navigating the complexities of today’s digital age, in which children can access inappropriate content, experience cyberbullying, suffer mental distress and addiction by using their screen devices, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, the Digital Health Institute for Transformation (DHIT) and other key community partners today announced the formation of The Digital Safety Alliance and launched the Safe+Sound initiative.

Nicklaus Children’s 2023 Spread Joy Toy Drive Sets New Record for Toys Gifted to the Hospital’s Patients

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital received donations of more than 30,000 toys for patients on Saturday, December 16, during its annual Spread Joy Toy Drive – one of the largest hauls in the event’s history. Thanks to the generosity of the South Florida community, toys with an estimated value of $607,000, were gifted to the hospital to brighten the days of children receiving care at the 309-bed pediatric specialty hospital.
